Facebook?

This is my facebook. I have been determined to stay off of "fb" and I have done it. Although, just yesterday Molly told me that I randomly showed back up! What?? I have deactivated 3 times now. I am wondering if somebody out there has my password! Not cool if this is the case! Puhleeeze! I am trying to be nice. :)

Is a cell phone a workout accessory??

Okay...you wanted me to blog, so here I go. I am sick and tired of people at the Y talking on their cell phones while they are supposedly working out!!!!!!!!!!

For example, there is a boy and I mean "boy"...I could totally "take him"...and he talks while he is in the gym. He talks about talking. I can't take it anymore. Today I busted him out!!! Yeah, I went there. He was "like...what...you freaky woman..." I don't even think he was phased. Whatever...I was about to blow up. I really wanted to grab his cell and throw it on the floor and smash it. Sorry for being so crazy, but this is incredibly rude...and I am not talking about myself!!!

Sheldon if you read this blog...please hang a memo about cell phone usage. thanks.

keep it real.

Wine and Milk??

This is probably one of the funniest things I've heard in a while! Shannon told me I had to blog about it...lol!

So, I was recently visiting Shannon and her family in Dennison, Illinois. We went to town and had dinner and then ran by the local IGA. As we were checking out, the lady in front of me had 2 things...chocolate milk and Boone's Farm Strawberry Hill! I was already smiling when I overheard her say, "I am about to start drinking this in the car because those damn kids are driving me crazy!"

It took everything I had to not bust out laughing! I told Shannon as soon as we went outside and we both died laughing! I know it may be one of those "you had to be there moments", but dang it was funny!

Thanks to my "Minnesnootan" friend, Shannon for yet another fun time at Mimi and Poppa's house. Rendy loves...Clara loves, too.

So, here is what my husband got for Father's Day and his 41st birthday! How much fun are we going to have????? Of course, the lime green jet ski is SUPERCHARGED!! It will go from 0 to 30 in a blink!! The other jet ski is actually blue, not red. I am very nervous...to say the least...

This Little Piggy...

Okay. I am having some major post training depression or PTD as some may call it. I have been so sad since The Pig! I was incredibly pumped for the race and now it's over. How sad am I???

The race was one I will never forget. I finished in 2 hours and 10 minutes...a personal best. I honestly cannot believe I did it. I really never do give myself enough credit. I had the best time with my pals - Lauren Mackey and Molly Rindt. Those are two of best girls around. I couldn't have asked for more support from them. I especially loved Lauren at the start...she said, "Hey, if we get split up, have a great race!" I said, "You, too!" And she was gone!! I ran all alone except for the random stranger that I talked to.

All in all, it was a perfect day and I will definitely do it again! Thanks to all of my friends in my cycling class that talked me into doing "The Pig"!!! OINK,OINK!!!

Congrats to Adam, Mike, Trey and Lauren for running their hearts out. I admire y'all more than you will ever know.

Blessings.

Tagged??

Well, Shannon "tagged" me. She wants me to tell her 6 quirky things about myself?? I hate to say, but for those of you that know me...6 won't cover it.

1. I can't stand dirty fingernails or toenails. YUCK!!!
2. I despise to hear gum being popped or snapped, although I LOVE to do it. Totally quirky...
3. I also can't handle ice being crunched or popcorn being chomped or chips being chewed.
4. I go crazy when I see words spelled incorrectly on signs.
5. I can't sleep when my husband's closet door is open. This stems all the way back to childhood and monsters...
6. I can't cook in a dirty kitchen.

How's this for 6?? I could go on, but the list would be too long and I might hurt someone's feelings.

On that note, I don't like to hurt people's feelings, although some people at my place of employment could give a _____ about my feelings. When did we grow up and become adults and then regress back to high school???

Whew... enough already...

P.S. Don't comment if it is going to hurt my feelings. I can't handle anymore this week.

Fruitcake Lady

Okay... I guess I am the new fruitcake lady.

QUESTION - When I drop my kids off at Skateway, will you become their parents?

I have two words for you - JUVENILE DELINQUENTS. As I was talking to Shannon last night (I was sitting in my car), I witnessed about 20 delinquents roaming around Skateway. They had been to the bowling alley and then back to Skateway and then back and forth... I don't get it. Where are they supposed to be? Where are their parents?

So, Shannon was listening - God love her - and was cracking up! I know I said some things I shouldn't have, but dangit, I get so sick of kids that have absolutely zero respect - not only for themselves, but for whomever is taking care of them and for my dear husband, Dave. He tries to get them to stay inside, but to avail. He just proceeds to call 911 and then Hendo's finest arrives on the scene...about 15 to 20 minutes later. I could go off about right now - as if I'm not already. So, they finally left the premises. Do I know where they went? NO!

So, to answer your question - NO!!! We will provide a fun environment and a great place to hangout. The food will be great and the music will be awesome. Dave will watch over all of the little people and he will do everything humanly possible to provide fun. I kid you not, I heard the little people say his name last night about 1,000 times! Dave - play this - Dave - play that!! OMGsh!

Okay, I am done ranting now. I hope that after not blogging for months - this will suffice.
